School-Based Programming: Anytime Friends

Anytime Friends offers a space for Red Wing High School students to meet after school to participate in a youth-organized activity. Student choice is the name of the game, and this year, the game was chess! We now have a chess club that meets every Wednesday during Anytime Friends, where students can challenge the chess master, learn how to play, or ask questions about strategy.

Beyond chess, students also spent time making birdhouses and bracelets, baking, playing board games, and participating in paper airplane competitions and scavenger hunts. This collaboration with Red Wing High School was a highlight of the year, and we look forward to starting again this fall!
