The very generous Outdoor Adventures Basket did not disappoint! From the Yeti Wine Tumbler, the Irish Setter boots, and the experience at Vino in the Valley, to the first-time experience of fly fishing, it really was a true outdoor adventure package.
The incredible fly fishing lesson and experience provided by Margo+Lola, located on over a half-mile stretch of the beautiful Rush River (just east of Ellsworth), lasted nearly five hours – they provided everything! Mark, the owner and instructor, was excellent, and he guided my father-in-law and me through every step. We had many great encounters with brook and brown trout, and we were all able to catch at least one fish. The lesson took place in a private setting on a Friday afternoon in mid-June, and the sounds of the river and clarity of the water made for an environment that all should experience.
